Taxonomy Identification: Family Gekkonidae, First named by Gray in 1825

Colour: Head, body and legs mottled blackish-grey. Patagial membranes (wings) paler brown-grey.

Size: Length from head to end of tail: 105-170mm (tails longer if straightened). Width: 45-55mm.

Comments & Applications: Wow! One of the most spectacular species of lizard on planet earth. These amazing Gecko’s have adaptations to its skin, including flaps on either side of its body, webbed feet, and a flattened tail to allow it to glide over short distances. Additionally this gecko has a remarkable camouflage.
